Cabinetmaker designers based in Toulouse
After several years of study at design school, Paul and Robin share a common approach, that of practicing design in the studio and in self-production.
It was by discovering their world, both authentic and minimalist, and by sharing the same values that we chose to work together.
Originally from Reims, Paul stopped off in Paris to perfect his experience working with design studios. He eventually settled in the Pink City and joined his friend Robin to create a studio-workshop together.
Our co-creations:
PALMA shelf , ANA hooks
&
MARAH chair
Very early on, they had an affinity with working with materials, in particular
wood and artisanal production. At the end of his studies, Robin decided to set up a workshop to prototype and manufacture his creations in order to meet custom requests. Paul joined the adventure shortly after to pool their skills and their common passion: work
wood.
This first collaboration gave birth to the “Fraise” collection.
Today, they divide their time between design projects and creations for publishers and custom manufacturing for companies and individuals.
For these two enthusiasts...
Nature is an inexhaustible source of creation, through its shapes, colors and diversity.
When working with wood, they respect the technical and aesthetic properties present in each species. They also pay particular attention to the details of the assemblies and the construction systems that are, for them, synonymous with quality and contribute to the identity of each piece.
It all starts with...
the development of specifications, a guideline, a project that is taking shape.
First of all, having studied design, the research and design work upstream through drawing is very important.
Next comes prototyping, which allows us to check the materiality of the object and the progress of its manufacture.
The final finishing stage is just as crucial, as it defines the identity and quality of each piece.
